One thing that hadn't changed in Elena was the fact that she loved to read, and that she loved the library. A lot of things had changed when her twin sister passed away, but this was definitely not one of them. Elena Rizzo had the day off from work today, and in the chilly February weather, nothing sounded better to her than to laze around at the public library with a good book and some coffee. Not worrying much about how she looked this morning, she had pulled on a pair of sweats, a black hooded sweatshirt, and slipped on her slipper shoes. She wanted to relax completely while reading.
She had picked up her coffee from Starbucks on the way to the library. Pulling open the door to the large building, she went inside, making a beeline for her favorite set of couches in the library. She didn't see anyone, but she wasn't always the most observant person. Taking a seat down on the couch, she sighed and pulled out a book from her purse. She tucked her legs underneath herself and opened the book. It was a classic, and one of her favorites, Pride of Prejudice.
It took only a few minutes before her phone was already vibrating in her purse. She stared down at the bag, it was probably just her brother, worrying too much once again. The phone vibrated again, sighing she reached down and grabbed the phone. It was her brother. After Alexis died Dante had become an even bigger pain in the ass than before, and she hated it. She understood why he did it, but it really did annoy her. El quickly typed out the words, I'm at the library, leave me be. and pressed send.
