{ THE PERSONALITY }
{ STRENGTHS }: Charming: Initially, its just the irish accent that tends to get people drawn in. Being charming tends to come in handy with Tommy’s line of work. He gets himself out of trouble alot, and also keeps him onside with alot clients were it might be difficult otherwise. He can read any social situation like a hawk, and can manoeuvre his way into favour with whoever he need it be, without excessive effort. He has quite the dodgy line of work, by being charming and professional he gets the higher class clients and the more interesting work with better pay, as well as keeping himself connected, as in his business, its all about who you know.
Street Smart: He reads people very quickly, he can derive who is trouble, and who is a target within seconds, knowing immediately how to act, depending on class, or intentions. He uses this alot within his work. He also knows the places in the city which most fit whatever his client needs, tends to come in particularly handy. He is good at cleaning up after himself, meaning he never gets caught. When consulting with a client he always poses as a Legal consultant to avoid any suspicious questions.
{ WEAKNESSES }: Arrogance: Tommy has a way of balancing his fantastic amount of charm with a hint of arrogance. He is good at what he does, and he knows it. He believes that his arrogance isn’t a fault, but a reassurance that he is just good at his job, however, many people wouldn’t agree. It also tends to piss off other blokes who aren’t friends. It also tends to be the reason for his break-ups of any of his short-term girlfriends.
Temper: To say Tommy has a short temper is a massive understatement. He blames it on being his blood, being a reckless Irishman. That excuse rarely works however, with a few raps for assault on his record he has to be careful, but anything worse than a bar brawl he cleans up, and gets away with, much to the annoyance of the NYPD. It is a rarity that he would ever lose his temper with a girl, he would never hit a lady, but he has been known to be fairly intimidating when he yells.

{ SECRETS }: He had a rough time with his family back at home. His father was mixed up with the Anti-IRA groups and an obsessive drunk. Tommy and his father had a few fights, and Tommy was kicked out regularly, having to sleep in the barn with the horses. His mother was always terrified of his father, as were the twins(Tommy’s younger siblings) and many of the fights were because Tommy was protecting his family from his reckless drunken father.
He also followed his mothers footsteps and used to compete horses at a national level. He was a big fan of showjumping growing up and turned out to be very talented at it, though he gave it up when he moved to America, he misses it alot, and whenever he’s home he rides regularly.
{ FEARS }: He always fears for his mothers and siblings safety. Though his father has settled down a little, he still doesn’t trust his crazy mood swings and drinking. He calls home regularly.
He also fears the day that a job goes wrong. He deals with a very sensitive and dangerous line of work, and he knows his life is on the line if anything goes wrong. He also fears the day he gets a job he really isn’t comfortable doing and can’t hand on. He refuses to get involved in prostitutes or trafficking.
{ OVERALL }:Tommy sets a fantastic first impression. He is fantastically charming, his beautiful accent reels you in, and he blags his way through being a legal consultant. This is, if you meet him in a social situation. He is very different when at work, whether he is on the door of a bar or club, he is stern, tall and broad shouldered, intimidating. He is sharp, and quick to catch on to anything. He is professional and ready to discuss any job, whether its debt collection, shipping something across the city, body guarding or giving someone a bit of a beating, he is your general go to man. Gaining himself a bit of a reputation in higher social circles, for being the best in the business, whilst keeping you completely safe from any connections to a job, he has done work for top city CEO’s and Lady and Lords. He is a thrown around name in these circles if a sinister problem arises, and is fantastic protection as a body guard for these high end characters.
However, he likes to go out with his tight circle of friends. He likes to go and impress ladies out in bars and clubs. Generally he is very good at it, being quite the ladies man. He has never managed to hold down a long term relationship, his longest lasting a few weeks before they get sick of him or he wants them out of his apartment. Tommy adores his apartment, his space away from the world where he can turn off. It was given to him as a present from a Russian diplomat he did a job for, and the inner city 2 bed apartment has become Tommy’s pride and joy, along with his Range Rover sport of course, another present from a very pleased client. Tommy knows the benefits of his job, and the rewards it can give him, as long as he doesn’t mess it up.
He moved to America on a whim, and has enjoyed it ever since. He has a sense of irish recklessness about him and he thrives of it. He makes the most of every day, and every person he meets, and that really comes across. Though he may seem a bit two sided, one side charming and cheeky, the other quite dark and strong. His close friends know that he has a healthy balance somewere in the middle, his honest, genuine and smart self. He has a little hint of homesickness now and then, which especially shows its self through his hatred of American football, and his inability to miss any Irish Rugby match. Though, he says he is just patriotic.

{ HISTORY }:
Kerry and Samuel had definitely not planned Tommy. They were both at the start of their flourishing careers, and it was a complete accident. They went ahead with it anyway, Kerry was adamant that they do, even if Samuel was very reluctant, not yet ready to become a dad at the age of 25. His attitude to parenting never really changed, leaving Kerry to care for the kids, between riding three horses and day, whilst Samuel did the rest. Their quiet country house and small stable block were soon run amock with three small kids after the birth of the twins a few years later. They had agreed to another child, but were shocked at two. So little Erin and Toby joined the Kildaire family. Kerry’s career took off, and she was jumping National circuits weekly, whilst her sister cared for the kids, and Samuel sat at home and worked with the rest of the horses, and moped over his wife being more successful than him.
Things became a little touchy at home when Tommy turned 16. He had been riding for years, and was very good, helping his mum out whenever he could. He never thought much to school, and after passing all his GCSE’s gave up to help with the horses. Samuel hated Tommy being around the yard, seeing it as his escape from the kids. Samuel turned to drink around this time, especially when Kerry and Tommy would be away for weekends at a time, and Samuel would be left with the 10 year old twins who did nothing but cause havoc. He became quite violent, and had many arguments with Kerry, and even more with Tommy. After Samuel’s father died, he completely lost all sense, which resulted in many physical fights between Samuel and Tommy. Tommy took a fair few batterings, but over the years would almost always overpower his father. Many times, Tommy would have to stay the night in the barn with the horses curled up under rugs, worried sick whether his mother and siblings were safe.
Samuel calmed down after a few years, and Tommy and him learnt to be civil with each other. Tommy felt a little trapped by the fact he was facing spending the rest of his life in this pokey town in Northern Ireland, with a fair bit of violence going on around. His only escape being the gym and his boxing. He made a very spontaneous decision to move to New York. He told his parents a week before, and then disappeared on a plane. He landed on his 23rd birthday.
He spent a little while working as a bouncer five nights a week, before meeting a few people and managing to grab a few jobs. He then made friends with a guy called David Carter, who introduced him to a ring of people that helped him get into the consultancy business. In which he works now.
